To import an existing BibTeX file, bring up the xqbib window and go to ``Search mode''. When you're in ``Search mode'', the ``Import BibTeX file'' menu option will become unstippled. Clicking the ``Import BibTeX file'' menubutton will display a file dialog box (see Figure 3.7) for you to enter the name of the BibTeX file that you would like to import. You can maneuver between directories by clicking a directory name in the ``Directories'' listbox, then choose a filename in the ``Files'' listbox. You can also type a directory or filename instead of using the mouse.
